The Canaday Technology Center (CTC), completed in 1979, is home to several academic departments and offices including the communication and languages department, the technology department, Student Financial Services, Academic Records (Registrar), Academic Advisement, and Graduate Studies. The television studio, Black Box Theater, and Positive Life Radio are also housed here. The Communication and Languages department offers majors in Spanish, French, international communications, public relations, speech, journalism, and media, in addition to facilitating study abroad programs around the world. The Technology Department offers majors in aviation, automotive technology, automotive management, graphic design, and industrial design. The technology department also manages the University Auto shop.
